To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Uruguayan Neuroscience Society (SNU), a special issue of the journal Neuroscience (www.sciencedirect.com/journal/neuroscience), the leading publication of IBRO, will be organized.
This special issue will primarily feature review articles and original research papers, particularly those co-authored by both local and international researchers. We aim to focus on topics where Uruguayan neuroscience has made significant international contributions.
The guest editors for this special issue are Drs. Ana Silva, Nathalia Vitureira, and Flavio Zolessi. We invite SNU members to submit manuscript proposals by sending an abstract with the title and author list to any of the guest editors via email (see below). If you already have a draft manuscript that could be suitable for this special issue, please consult the editors in advance to streamline the editorial process. The manuscript submission deadline is August 15, 2024.
To ensure broad participation and a balanced thematic distribution, only one manuscript per author/co-author will be accepted. All submitted manuscripts will undergo the usual peer-review process.
