Next year’s in-person ASN 52nd Annual meeting is in Roanoke, Virginia on April 10-14, 2022. We are looking forward to welcoming each one of you.
Check out the excellent scientific program our program committee has put together. Please plan to attend and register for the meeting. Encourage trainees and colleagues to submit abstracts and apply for various ASN awards
•The Jordi Folch Pi Award is given to an outstanding young investigator, with $1,500 for travel costs and an opportunity to organize a symposium for the 2023 ASN Annual Meeting.
•The Marian Kies Award is given to a junior scientist for an outstanding Ph.D. thesis completed within the last 2 years of their graduation.
•The Young Investigator Educational Enhancement Travel Awards are for graduate students and postdoctoral scientists. ASN has increased the number of travel awards and reserved 30% of these awards for students that are from underrepresented backgrounds, along with giving them free 1-year ASN membership.
• Those applying for the YIEE Award will also be considered for special ASN NEURO, Sanofi Trainee (postdoctoral fellows), and BioLegend (for those who work with antibodies and submit a high-quality image) awards.
•The Young Latin American Scholar Trainee Awards are for trainees from Latin America. The award is used to subsidize the costs of young scientists (under 35 years old) attending the meeting and visiting an established laboratory in North America.
